Breakin' it down

This year I took a different approach to Spring Break, I did it realistically. I also left ALL the school stuff at school and it was the best Spring Break ever...except maybe for that one where I was in Mexico and ended up having a baby in December ;)

Here is a re-cap and comments on how it went.

Realistic To-Do List

1. Watch cartoons every morning. - Check!
2. Go to the library at least once. - Does returning books but not getting new ones count?
3. Catch up on laundry. - Check!
4. Take naps. - Double Check!!
5. Do one and only one extra homework assignment per grad class - umm...I didn't do any so I am not sure if I succeeded or not on this one??
6. Open the windows. - Check - but only once.
7. Plant flowers. - ummm...no, it snowed.
8. Mop kitchen and bathroom. - Check!
9. Get out new 31 My Home items and sort toys. - Kind of check, 31 is out, some toys sorted, most toys in a giant pile.
10. Vacuum all rooms. - all but our bedroom
11. Watch Cinda lella...but not more than once a day. - Nope, Aristocats is the new favorite...everybody wants to be a cat!
12. Play dress up. - Triple Check and kudos to daddy because he put pretties (aka hair clips) in his hair.
13. Have ice cream for snack.- Yes We Did!!
14. Go for walks - No Check - it snowed, we walked on the porch for a few minutes one day and ran laps around the house at the farm, otherwise it was just way to stinking cold.
15. Remove at least one tote from basement. - Check!! See my next post for an update of this!!

we need another spring break like that one ;) wink wink. we need another little munchkin running around!

Welcome to my world. Nothing too exciting going on here....I am a teacher and enjoy telling my friends about the interesting things that happen in my daily life. I find the most pleasure in the simple things that occur daily. Like the brilliant sunsets as I drive home from work or the way Maggie whimpers and paws when she dreams in the kitchen or the way Cody starts my car when he leaves for work just because he knows I don't like to be cold.
